BELIEFS AND VALUES
Love God and Love Each Other. A Place for Faith, Family & Fun!
We believe Jesus calls all of us to love God and one another, and to put that love into action through mission and community service in meaningful ways. Just as Jesus met people where they are in life, we strive to do the same.
And so, Creekside Church exists to bring God’s love, goodness, grace and hope throughout Upper Montgomery County including the neighborhoods of Cabin Branch, Creekside, Clarksburg, and Boyds.
We do this by example, by acts of kindness and service, by advocating for those in poverty and on the margins, and by gathering together in large and small groups for fun, faith building, and the worship of God.
We also firmly believe that learning about God and Jesus can be a joyful, creative, and fun experience, one that builds faith for both lifelong churchgoers and those just beginning to seek God. We're A Place for Faith, Family & Fun!

OUR STORY
God Moments at Every Turn...
and...Don't Forget the Fun!
Creekside Church has flourished in Clarksburg, MD, with our mission to share God's love and grace. Our purpose is simple and follows the commandment that Jesus gave us: “Love God and Love Each Other.” With this in mind, we believe that church should be a place for “Faith, Fun, and Family.”
At the start and with no building to gather in, we turned Clarkmont Park into a vibrant community hub, where families could play, connect, and witness God's love in action through our summer events and fun activities. Following Jesus’ example of meeting people where they are, we embraced the opportunity to bond with our diverse neighbors in the park in a truly blessed experience!
As the area developed, so did we. With the addition of Cabin Branch Elementary School, we now host worshipful gatherings in its multipurpose room, creating intergenerational, family, and youth connections. Of course, when the summer sun shines, you’ll still find us in the park, sharing smiles and faith.
Creekside Church continues to deepen people's faith, build meaningful connections, serve our community, and celebrate God’s love, all while having fun along the way!
